🎸 Built for Real Vintage Tone — Not Just Looks
Most humbucker covers on the market are made to look vintage. Ours are made to sound vintage. These 49.2mm P.A.F. Humbucker Covers were engineered to match the materials used in the late 1950s and early 1960s—the golden era of Gibson tone.
We studied original covers, broke down the metallurgy, and recreated the exact alloy composition that gave those old P.A.F.s their signature clarity, compression, and response.
If your goal is vintage-correct tone, this is the final piece of the puzzle.
Why 49.2mm Matters:
This is the correct pole spacing for vintage Gibson humbuckers—including original P.A.F.s and T-Tops. Modern "F-spaced" or 50mm covers just don't fit it on a proper vintage Gibson-style build.
Three Tone-Correct Finishes:
Shiny Nickel ($99.99) – Bright and bold, great for restoration or modern-vintage hybrids
Gold ($129.99) – Deep, rich finish over vintage-correct alloy
Vintage Nickel ($149.99) – Subtly aged for that broken-in look and slightly warmer voicing
Why Ours Are Different:
While other companies charge more, none match our commitment to tonal accuracy. Not all covers—or metals—are created equal. Many modern replacements are mass-produced with inferior plating and incorrect alloys that choke your tone.
We don’t cut corners. These covers are spec’d to sound right. Because your pickups can only sound as good as the parts you build them with.
